Get Involved
This group is open to anyone interested in supporting our mission. Group members get to guide SEPAC priority-setting, collaborate with parents, caregivers, and school administrators and advocate for change. Membership is free and does not require special training or background knowledge to belong. You can find more information on types of members in the bylaws
The group meets virtually on the 3rd Friday of the month
Committees
Communications
○ conducts outreach efforts through external communications and engaging with the community ○ recruits SEPAC members from under-represented schools ○ identifies and collates resources for parents and caregivers
Data and Policy
○ utilizes currently available data to analyze trends and identify new data collection areas ○ develops measurement tools and surveys to support the SEPAC’s mission and vision ○ examines current goal achievement and provides strategic recommendations. ○ attends monthly district policy meetings ○ researches and recommends best practices and professional development opportunities ○ presents findings (either in the SEPAC Annual Report or as the opportunity arises).
